The State Property Committee held a meeting of the final board, where Chairman Dmitry Matusevich presented the main results of the department’s work for 2023 and outlined development plans for 2024.

Dmitry Matusevich noted that last year, organizations of the State Property Committee system successfully completed their tasks, completing state program activities with the efficient use of financial resources. The Committee actively continued to work on digitalizing the industry, accelerating local decision-making and improving rental relations.

An important step to increase efficiency was the adoption of 97 legal acts aimed at protecting the interests of the state and ensuring transparency in working with land. The State Property Committee is also actively moving towards creating a full-fledged spatial data infrastructure and updating the National Atlas of Belarus.

The Chairman noted the continuation of work in the field of land relations, strengthening transparency using digital technologies and comprehensive adjustments to legislation on the protection and use of land.

An important achievement is the identification of confirmed facts of unauthorized occupation of land, which made it possible to make decisions on the legality of land use. Much attention is also paid to improving property management and accounting, as well as optimizing the use of property.

Dmitry Matusevich emphasized the importance of work in the field of land relations, calling for building transparent activities using digital technologies. He also noted the successful transfer of all administrative procedures for state registration of real estate into electronic form since the beginning of this year.
