31.07.2023 В Беларуси с 1 августа повышается бюджет прожиточного минимума

According to the Decree of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection No. 26 of July 24, 2023, from August 1, the subsistence minimum budget will be increased in Belarus. According to official information, the new size of the subsistence minimum budget will be 364.4 rubles, which is 3.5% more than the previous standard, which was in force from May 1 to July 31, 2023, when its value was 352.13 rubles.

In accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Labor, for the able-bodied population the subsistence minimum budget will be set at 403.94 rubles, for pensioners - 271.09 rubles. In addition, for children under 3 years of age, the subsistence minimum budget will be 232.41 rubles, for children from 3 to 6 years old - 319.5 rubles, and for children from 6 to 18 years old - 388.35 rubles.

It is also noted that from August 1, various allowances and increases related to the subsistence minimum budget will be automatically reviewed, including state benefits for families with children, pensions for certain categories, benefits for caring for the disabled of the first group or older people, as well as social pensions.

These changes are relevant for various social benefits, depending on the size of the subsistence minimum budget, and will be automatically regulated by the corresponding changes in regulations and regulations. They concern not only state benefits for families with children, but also affect pensions for certain categories, allowances and supplements for pensioners over 75 years old, benefits for caring for disabled people of group I and people over 80 years old, as well as social pensions.
