From May 24 to May 26, 2023, representatives of the State Enterprise "BelPSHAGI" visited JSC "Ural Civil Aviation Plant", located in the city of Yekaterinburg (Russian Federation), where they held a working meeting with local specialists and discussed the potential for manufacturing and supplying a specialized aircraft for aerial photography work on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
The Belarusian delegation was given a sightseeing tour of UZGA JSC, during which the manufacturing process of Diamond DA42 aircraft was demonstrated, as well as possible options for introducing various payloads (including aerial photography equipment) by the partner of the aviation plant, Airburg JSC the specified aircraft.
Additionally, a prototype of the Russian-made aircraft LMS-901 "Baikal" was shown, capable of taking off and landing from unequipped airfields and transporting several payload options at once.
