A joint meeting of the boards of the State Property Committee and the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) was held in Grodno. Chairman of the State Property Committee, Dmitry Matusevich, noted that this stage is important for assessing the effectiveness of the activities of Belarus and Russia in the field of geodesy, cartography, geoinformation technologies, remote sensing of the Earth, land cadastre and state registration of real estate. The issues discussed at the meeting and the decisions taken will become additional incentives for integration cooperation between Belarus and Russia in the field of digital transformation of the economy and information security. The boards discussed the development of systems of national spatial data infrastructures and priority digital transformation projects, the prospects for improving the cadastral valuation in Belarus and Russia, the development of registration systems and joint Russian-Belarusian cartographic products, as well as the creation of a network university of the CIS member states.
