In June 2023, representatives of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus made a working trip to Shanghai and Wuhan (PRC) in order to familiarize themselves with modern equipment, software and solutions in the field of high-precision geodesy and laser scanning, robotic complexes and other high-tech specialized products.
The Belarusian delegation, consisting of Deputy Chairman of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus Bober Nikolai Pavlovich, Director of the State Enterprise "BelPSHAGI" Oleg Nikolaevich Balitsky, and Director of the State Enterprise "Belgeodezia" Sergey Aleksandrovich Zabagonsky visited the factories of Shanghai Huace Navigation Technology LTD (CHC Navigation brand), where conducted an assessment of the quality and possibilities of using their software and equipment in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, as a result of which it was determined that this company can be considered as a potential supplier of aerial photography equipment and solutions for the State Enterprise "BelPSHAGI".
The CHC Navigation company presented various products in the field of geodesy, laser scanning and robotic complexes. They demonstrated various lidars and drones for aerial photography. The company also produces lidars based on components of the Austrian firm Riegl.
During the meeting, the initial data of point clouds obtained with the help of various lidars were transferred for independent processing and study by specialists of the State Enterprise "BelPSHAGI".
In addition, CHC Navigation is developing its own ALPHAUNI 20 lidar, which is versatile and can be used on various platforms, such as manned and unmanned aircraft, cars and model ships. This lidar has high accuracy, scanning speed and other advantages.
