Chairman of the State Property Committee Dmitry Matusevich took part in the “Our Children” charity event, where he expressed congratulations to the students of special secondary school No. 14 for children with hearing impairments.

“We are always ready to help our children. This is a priority for all government bodies and for the entire country as a whole. Today’s visit reminds us that we always remember about our special children. For more than 15 years, the State Property Committee has been providing financial assistance to the school. technical support, providing cartographic and other necessary educational materials,” noted Dmitry Matusevich. "We always try to come up with something new for this event. Today we lovingly packed a large box of board games for our children. With this gift we want to remind them how important it is to learn to relax in addition to classes. Children always expect miracles. And adults sometimes need to arrange for them magic and to give them the joy of the holiday,” added the head of the department.

School director Natalya Kravchuk said that the “Our Children” campaign primarily helps develop communication and friendship skills among children. “Our special children perceive the world differently. They cannot hear with their ears, but they can hear with their hearts. Meetings of this kind give children the opportunity to find new friends. The children prepare each New Year’s performance for the whole year. This is a very important and long-awaited event for them,” the director emphasized .

As part of today's event, students prepared a return gift for the guests - a festive concert and performance.

There are more than 20 classes in special secondary school No. 14 for children with hearing impairments. Since 2013, the school has been conducting educational process in the state institution “Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children” and is a resource center for comprehensive assistance to children with hearing impairment.
