13.10.2023 «Пределы пограничной зоны и полосы»: разработан чат-бот с использованием геоданных публичной кадастровой карты

The National Cadastral Agency (NCA) has successfully introduced an innovative development using artificial intelligence (AI) into commercial operation. The chatbot “Limits of the border zone and strip of Belarus” was created by agency employees with the support of the State Border Committee and based on the cross-platform instant messaging system Telegram.
The chatbot is designed to provide information about the boundaries of the border zone and strip of Belarus, as well as about the administrative-territorial units in which the specified coordinates are located. The chatbot’s work is based on the geodata of the layer “Limits of the border zone and strip”, which were created and used on the public cadastral map of Belarus since 2018.
To find out location information, the user can choose one of the following methods:
1. Send geolocation data automatically detected by the device.
2. Select a location on the map using the built-in “attach” tool in Telegram and selecting the “geolocation” option.
3. Enter coordinates manually.
The process of checking and receiving information from the chatbot is simple and convenient. In response to the request, the chatbot will inform the user whether the specified point is located within the border zone or strip, and will also provide information about the administrative-territorial unit in which this point is located. All information provided is based on data from the unified state register of administrative-territorial and territorial units of the state land cadastre of Belarus.
In addition, the chatbot has links to various documents and useful resources that can be useful to users. This allows you to obtain more detailed information about the rules for visiting the border zone and strip, as well as additional materials related to this topic.
