A meeting of the Board of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus was held, within the framework of which the results of the work of the possessory supervision bodies of the duties assigned to them to manage shares belonging to the Republic of Belarus (stakes in authorized funds) were considered.
The event was attended by Chairman of the State Property Committee Dmitry Matusevich, First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee Dmitry Basko, representatives of territorial committees of state property and republican government bodies.
The main speaker was Svetlana Degterenko, head of the main department of corporate relations, possessory supervision and circulation of shares, who noted that on the basis of the information provided in the reports of state representatives, a preliminary analysis of a number of financial indicators was carried out (net profit (loss), return on equity, total shareholder return ) the activities of companies and a rating was compiled in the context of possessory supervision bodies. In addition, an assessment was made of the work of state representatives appointed to the management bodies of business entities with state participation.
The head of the main department also recalled that a government decree was adopted the day before, which is aimed at improving the efficiency of the work of possessory supervision bodies and state representatives.
