22.03.2024 Фотодокументальная баннерная выставка «Хатынь – святыня национальной памяти»

The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus organized a photo-documentary exhibition at the State Enterprise "BelPSHAGI" entitled "Khatyn - a shrine of national memory." This exhibition is dedicated to the tragedy of the Belarusian village of Khatyn, which was burned along with its inhabitants on March 22, 1943.

The exhibition is based on digital copies of documents from the archive, which reveal in detail the crimes of the Nazi occupiers and their accomplices against the civilian population of the village of Khatyn and other affected villages during the war. The documents include materials from partisans, German interrogations, reports on the events of that day, testimonies of witnesses to the Khatyn tragedy, as well as information about war criminals who received deserved punishment in the post-war period.

Leading archivist V.P. Garmatny told the company’s employees about the historical events presented at the exhibition, helping to reveal the historical significance of the events of the Khatyn tragedy.

All material presented at the exhibition should help preserve and convey the historical memory of Khatyn and other villages that suffered during the war.
