The National Cadastral Agency has developed a new interactive layer on the public cadastral map, which represents the “Economic planning zones of Minsk”.

Since 2016, five economic planning zones have been established in Minsk to determine the value of the urban area as a basis for economic development. This approach is used to calculate coefficients used in determining the amount of rent and fees for the use of rental property. The formation of economic planning zones allows the use of various increasing coefficients depending on the territorial affiliation of the property or land plot.

Representatives of the National Cadastral Agency note that the new layer on the map will provide more convenient access to information on the address of the property, cadastral number and other data, which will reduce the time required to determine territorial affiliation to one of the five economic planning zones, and will also simplify subsequent calculations.

Experts also clarified that if changes are made to the legislation regulating the formation of economic planning zones, the information in the map layer will be updated.
